After nine years in the US financial services industry working with hundreds of banks - including Capital One and Zions Bank - in the areas of customer acquisition, copywriting, and marketing, Mark founded the FInTech software company Hip Pocket in 2013 and the Hip Money app in 2017. His startup and FinTech accelerator experiences includes completing NMotion (a GAN Accelerator), Pipeline (an entrepreneurial fellowship supported by the Kauffman Foudnation), the Points of Light Civic Accelerator program, the Advance Queensland Australia Government Hot DesQ Grant Program, as well as mentoring with INV FinTech and the Kiwibank Accelerator in New Zealand. He has presented as a Global Top 5 FinTech Startup at the SXSW Pitch Accelerator, Top Early Stage Startup at Money20/20, FinCon, The Financial Brand Forum, Bank Innovation, BAI Retail, ABA Bank Marketing Conference, Finovate, and the Pitch for the Iron Throne in Dublin.
